Atelier Zij aan Zij
In the Passage, you can visit Zij aan Zij's shop for fun, useful and original gifts for 15 years. From sustainable fabric flaglines to printed rompers, aprons and sustainable make-up cleaning pads. In the workshop, clients make products that you can buy in Zij aan Zij's shop. To do so, they use sustainable materials as much as possible.
At the District Service Centre, they turn discarded books and atlases into fun lamps and paper garlands, for example. They sell these unique products in the adjacent workshop. You can also come to the WSC for digitising photos, slides and VHS tapes. For the toy bank in Leiden, clients check out puzzles and all kinds of toys.
In the third group, the Service Team, clients perform service-oriented tasks. Think of packing, making snacks for the Vliethuis and recently the clients also helped in the kitchen at butcher's shop Aad Arbouw. The clients always enjoy doing all this work!
