Vlietland Water Sports Center

Climbing on one of the climbing courses on the beautifully situated climbing island. Rent a sloop, motorboat, pedal boat or sailboat. Sailing lessons are also given by professional instructors. And if you want to go on holiday to Vlietland, you can do so at the campsite located on the water. There is even a private marina.

Boat rental
The fleet of Watersportcentrum Vlietland is very extensive. Whether you want to spend a whole day on the road or just float for an hour on the beautiful lake of the Vlietland recreation area. It's all possible. With us you can rent a sloop, motorboat, sailboat (Polyvalk, Topaz and Optimist), canoe (1-, 2-, 3- and 10-person canoe), pedal boat or rowing boat. There is something for everyone.

Camping
A cozy and car-free family campsite in the middle of the Randstad and on the border of the Green Heart. With Leiden and The Hague around the corner, many water sports options and various walking, cycling and inline skating routes nearby, there is always something to do. The campsite is equipped for caravans, motorhomes, family tents and hikers' tents. You can also rent one of the three hikers' cabins.

Sailing Center
We offer parties/associations lessons, training and competitions. And sailing lessons for adults.

Port
This is the ideal home port with many possibilities. 300 berths in the water and 100 places for smaller sailing boats on the side. We have lockers available for the avid windsurfers and canoeists to store their belongings. It is located in one of the most beautiful locations in the region and there are many beautiful sailing routes from Vlietland.

Climbing park The Climbing Island
Here you will climb over 6 routes, divided over 4 different heights. Start at 1 or 4 meters and continue your climbing route at a height of 7 and 11 meters! The climbing park consists of 50 climbing obstacles and 10 cable cars. As a final sprint, there is even a cable car over 100 meters long. A real challenge for climbers of novice and advanced level. Do you dare?

Outdoor sports for groups
Watersportcentrum Vlietland has more than 20 years of experience with activity programs for schools, company outings and children's parties. We offer various programs for outdoor sports in which everyone is continuously actively involved. Our experienced and enthusiastic instructors provide good and safe guidance.
