Laurentius Music Society
Laurentius Music Society is a very active association and currently has about 100 members and several orchestras, of which Drum Band Laurentius and Jong Laurentius are the best known.
We rehearse in our club building at Anthoni van Leeuwenhoekkade 37 in Voorschoten.
From the distant past, Laurentius can regularly be seen and heard during parades, flower parades, tattoos, competitions and at the WMC.
Besides focusing on marching, Laurentius Drumband has rehearsed a musical show several times, which has been presented at various tattoos at home and abroad. Currently, Drumfanfare Laurentius is performing the show 'Just Say Hello'. Jong Laurentius can be seen on the tattoo fields with the show 'At the Movies'.
Music Society Laurentius Voorschoten has several orchestras within its association that perform at home and abroad. We also have seasonal orchestras that can only be booked at the time of Sinterklaas and Christmas.
