Jazz in Voorschoten

Podium for Young Jazz Professionals (PJPJ) is an association which organizes concerts with jazz students from the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague.

A great opportunity for young musicians to present themselves and gain stage experience. The idea is to promote high quality jazz music in a low-key fashion, contributing to the cultural scene in Voorschoten.

Monthly jazz concerts take place from September through April. The annual Piet Wezepoel Jazz Festival is in May, in honour of the founder and chairman of PJPJ, who passed away in 2015. The concerts and the festival are held in the Cultural Centre of Voorschoten.
