Voorschoten Awards

The Voorschoten Awards have become a fine tradition, celebrating the indispensable contributions of our local heroes. After successful editions in 2023 and 2024, we are looking forward to the next ceremony on Friday evening 12 September 2025. In cooperation with the municipality, we put people in the spotlight who dedicate themselves to Voorschoten.

From 1 April to 15 May, you can nominate a volunteer, sports talent, cultural inspiration or youth hero. Think of the dedicated youth coach, the enthusiastic volunteer or the cultural hero who enriches Voorschoten with creativity. The awards recognise achievements in four categories: sport, culture, volunteering and youth.

Winners receive a challenge trophy, their own trophy and a certificate. Do you know someone who deserves this honour? Nominate him or her from 1 April via www.hetweekend.nl/voorschoten-awards or @voorschotenawards on social media.

Together, we will make it an unforgettable evening and celebrate the heroes of Voorschoten!
