The walking park of Duivenvoorde estate
In the nineteenth century, the gardens were laid out in English landscape style by garden architect J.D. Zocher jr. This historical ambiance can still be felt in the walking park.
The English Landscape Park with beautiful vistas, lanes, bridges and winding paths has special flora and fauna. The park is home to many different species of birds; the kingfisher, green woodpecker and numerous other animals such as peacocks, squirrels, bats and deer. There are also rare plant species, including Steinzenflora, flowers and many different tree species.
