Registration Kerstscratch 'Beleven & Ontmoeten'

On Sunday, December 8, 2024, amateur musicians and singers are cordially invited to the Village Church. There they will spend an afternoon practicing repertoire for a concert that they will perform the same day. This is the third time the Culture Factory has organized the scratch/play-in afternoon. In a few years, the event has grown into an activity with more than a hundred participants. Registration is open until Nov. 24, 2024 through the Culture Factory's website.

During the scratch, instrumentalists and singers take on the challenge of rehearsing a concert together within an afternoon. They do this without rehearsing beforehand and without regularly making music with each other. The Culture Factory is happy to see so many musicians coming together to celebrate culture in Voorschoten in a winter atmosphere. Together they bring the Christmas atmosphere to life through music, togetherness and conviviality. The scratch afternoon is under the musical direction of Maria Rosenmöller.

Anyone whose music jitters are immediately released can register (see the form). Registration is necessary so that the instruments and singing voices present can be taken into account. And those who do not make music themselves but do enjoy listening to music are of course cordially invited to come to the closing concert. More information on this will follow at a later date.

The Culture Factory again hopes to greet as many musicians and music lovers as possible. Culture is connecting, experiencing and meeting.
