Jazzconcert PJPJ met Ocelo

PJPJ jazz concert featuring the Ocelo, quintet with bandleader Leo Michael Bird Giger, drums on November 16, 2024 at Cultureel Centrum Voorschoten, Prinses Marijkelaan 4, Voorschoten. Commencement 8 p.m. The hall opens at 19.30 and the entrance fee is € 9.00. For donors, students and youth up to 18 years of age, entrance is free.

OCELO, with Leo Michael Bird Giger - drums, Pablo Cruz - tenor saxophone, Emiliano Roca - guitar, Federico Termini - piano and Arjun Ramdas - double bass, plays mainly original music written by Leo Michael Bird Giger. The compositions can be described as modern jazz with strong contemporary influences from various jazz-related styles ranging from classical music to soul and hip-hop. The band members know each other from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
